47 DO’S AND DON'TS ALWAYS USE SUFFICIENT LENGTHS OF SHOCK TUBE FOR THE SPECIFIC APPLICATION. ALWAYS INITIATE SHOCK TUBE BY USING A DETONATOR (NONEL‡ FUSE MASTERSTARTER®) OR DETONATING CORD.

48 DO’S AND DON'TS DO NOT REVERSE PRIME WITH SHOCK TUBES.
DO NOT USE THE DETONATOR TO MAKE A HOLE INTO A CARTRIDGE EXPLOSIVE FOR PRIMING PURPOSES. DO NOT TRY AN PULL OUT A MISFIRED UNIT OUT OF CHARGED HOLE.
