What is TENAX T-Block System? The construction of mechanical stabilized wall with a Tenax patented connector between HDPE geogrids and segmental concrete blocks. The connectors are locked into the geogrids which are wedged between two layers of blocks to maintain wall stability. This mechanical connection allows the system to utilize optimum full long term strength of the geogrids in the design. As the geogrids are interlocked level between blocks, wall rotation would not occur as in some other systems do.
The T-Block Concrete Unit A modular precast concrete block facing unit, a polymeric T-clip connector and layers of TENAX TT SAMP geogrid reinforcement.Precast Concrete Block Facing UnitTongue and Groove Connection
The T-Block Connection “T-clip” and Geogrid T-clip slot into geogridT-clip
The T-Block System Soil - Geogrid – T-clip – Block T-Clip connector provides effective mechanical connection with the geogrid and the concrete block units to form a totally integrated system
Benefits of the T-Block System Fast and easy to constructLarge cost savings over traditional reinforced concrete structuresDesign fully complied to Geoguide 6No piling and heavy foundationPossibility of using existing backfillArea behind wall can be trafficked immediatelyVariety of facing aesthetics to suit client needsEasy conformity to any alignment & profileMinimize energy, concrete and steel reinforcement
