The Stranger!

As I grew up I never questioned his place in our family. In my young mind, each member had a special niche. My brother, Bill, a few years my senior, was my example. Fran, my younger sister, gave me an opportunity to play 'big brother' and develop the art of teasing.

My parents were complementary instructorsMom taught me to love the word of God, and Dad taught me to obey it. But the stranger? He was our storyteller!

He could hold our whole family spell-bound for hours each evening. Adventure mysteries were daily conversations. and comedies He could weave the most fascinating tales.

If I wanted to know about politics, history, or science … he knew it all!

He knew about the past, understood the present, and seemingly could predict the future. The pictures he could draw were so life like that I would often laugh … or… cry as I watched.

He was always encouraging us to see movies, and even made arrangements to introduce us to several movie stars. He was like a friend to the whole family. He took Dad, Bill and me to our first major league ball game.

The stranger was an incessant talker. Dad didn't seem to mind, but sometimes mom would quietly get upwhile the rest of us were enthralled with one of his stories of faraway places go to her room, read her Bible and pray. I wonder now if she ever prayed that the stranger would leave. You see, my dad DID rule our household with certain moral convictions …but…

THIS STRANGER NEVER FELT AN OBLIGATION TO HONOR THEM! To my knowledge, the stranger was never confronted. Profanity for example, was not allowed in our housenot from us at leastoccasional four- letter words that burned my ears and made Dad squirm. My dad never permitted alcohol in his homenot even for cooking. but the stranger felt like we needed exposure and enlightened us to other ways of life. He offered us beer and other alcoholic beverages often.

He made cigarettes look tasty, cigars manly, and pipes distinguished. I now know that the stranger influenced my early concepts of the man/woman relationship. He talked freely about sex. Fine! But his comments were sometimes blatant, often suggestive, and generally embarrassing & pathetic!

More than thirty years have passed since the stranger moved in with us, but if I were to walk in my parents' home today, I would still see him sitting there waiting for someone to listen to his stories and watch him draw his pictures. His name?... As I look back, I believe it was the grace of God that the stranger did not influence us more. Time after time, he opposed the values of my parents, yet he was seldom rebuked and never asked to leave.

MORE ON THE POWER OF TV >> >>>>TV Causes Autism – A Research Researchers at Cornell University and Purdue University claim to have found a link between childhood TV watching and autism, confirming what everyone had already surmised. According to research, heavy TV indulgence before the age of three is clearly associated with an increase in autism. The paper suggests that TV could be a trigger for those with a genetic predisposition toward the condition.

THE POWER OF TV: The TV Masters Have An Agenda "We are going to impose our agenda on the coverage by dealing with issues and subjects that we choose to deal with." - (Richard Cohan, Sr. Producer, CBS political news). The Central Intelligence Agency owns everyone of any significance in the major media. - William Colby, Ex Director of the CIA "In March 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests -- the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interest, and their subsidiary organizations -- got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press...They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. An agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness, militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and international nature considered vital to the interests of the purchasers." - U.S. Congressman Oscar Callaway, 1917 "We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a WORLD GOVERNMENT. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto determination practiced in past centuries." - David Rockefeller, founder of the Trilateral Commission, in an address before that organization in June 1991

FOR MORE ON SECRET MEDIA MANIPULATION, SEE: THE MASTERS OF THE MEDIA A powerful PowerPoint Presentation available at: ww wwww wwww.... 9999 8888.... tttt oooo //// pppp aaaa rrrr aaaa dddd iiii ssss oooo //// As civilization becomes more complex, and as the need for INVISIBLE GOVERNMENT has been increasingly demonstrated, the technical means have been invented and developed by which PUBLIC OPINION MAY BE REGIMENTED. With printing press and newspaper, the telephone, telegraph, radio, (television) and airplanes, ideas can be spread rapidly, and even instantaneously, across the whole of America. The conscious and intelligent MANIPULATION of organized habits and OPINIONS of the MASSES is an important element in a democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an INVISIBLE GOVERNMENT which is the TRUE RULING POWER IN OUR COUNTRY. We are governed, our minds are molded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by MEN WE HAVE NEVER HEARD OF. [The Media Masters!] Whatever attitude one chooses to take toward this condition, it remains a fact that in almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are DOMINATED by a relatively SMALL NUMBER OF PERSONS, a trifling fraction of our hundred and twenty million, who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is THEY who PULL THE WIRES which CONTROL THE PUBLIC MIND, and who harness old social forces and CONTRIVE NEW WAYS TO BIND AND GUIDE THE WORLD. Edward Bernays--Sigmund Freud s cousin--in his book Propaganda published 1928, former director CBS. The father of social engineering of consent of the masses.
