Job cards issued Demand for employment of a Household Employment provided to a household Employment provided to women, SC & ST Number of persondays generated in the district. Cost of one day of employment provided Number of days of employment provided to a household Expenditure incurred on wages, material and administration Nature of works taken up and their proportion.

Planning Preparation of perspective plans Preparation of labour budget Job card Number of days taken in issuing Job Card Updation and the entries in Job Card ID and authentication of Job Card Job card is in custody of household Application for demand Acknowledgement of demand by dated receipt Muster Roll maintenance Muster roll is numbered and authenticated Only valid muster roll is used and are available at worksite All entries in muster roll are being made, such as attendance, wage payment made. 100% verification of muster roll

Wage payment Wage payment is through Banks/ Post offices Wage payment if being made in cash is in front of community Wage payment is not delayed. Work measurement and labour productivity Measurement is done once a week 7 hours of diligent work entitles the wage earner minimum wages Transparency Whether the requirements of putting NREGA records in public domain are being fulfilled. 10 Methodology of Development of NREGASoft
Assessible at Result of Continuous Consultations with the States Offline version was provided to States for beta testing Online version tried by States and shortcomings communicated NIC team and Ministry’s officials with domain knowledge interacted with the various States & Districts

12 Necessity for computer based MIS
The magnitude of operations of NREGA throw large scale data, which is difficult to monitor without MIS. The Programme monitoring entails employment monitoring of each household. MIS is a Management tool MIS to track time-bound activities: throws alerts Provision of employment with in 15 days of demanding To track whether unemployment allowance is to be paid To generate progress reports in desired formats To monitor the data and analyse the progress To enhance transparency and to meet RTI mandates

13 How to operationalise MIS
Hardware requirement Basic computer Software requirement MIS is Browser independent: Internet Explorer, Mozilla or firefox can be used. Offline mode can operate on Open source-Linux or Windows For offline operation NREGASoft is to loaded Trained Operators At least two operators at Block level.

14 MIS an aid to quality implementation
MIS performs the following critical functions: Records households information and data pertaining to issue of Job Card] Records and tracks the fulfillment of employment guarantee Employment Demand and supply [keeps tracks of allotment of employment] Records the Muster Roll data, that pertain to Wage Payments, number of days of work done and the work on which employment provided. Ensure and tracks Fund availability at each level Enhances Transparency [Muster rolls, Job Card register, Employment register and information on works are available on the MIS] Enhances promptness of Grievance Redressal

15 Operational Details of IT Plan
The MIS structure and standard defined by MORD States free to develop their own MIS with interoperability and compatibility in perspective Gram Panchayat to be the basic unit for data base design, but data entry could be done at Block level Computerisation work of Block level could be outsourced
