1. Review Paper: User Friendly Kevin has a computer with a personality named Louis. Kevin has a crush on a girl at school. He tells Louis about her. Louis starts to act strange. Louis does terrible things to the girls family. Kevins dad shuts down Louis because Louis is acting weird. Kevin finds a note from the computer that says, I will always love you Kevin: Louise. I think that it is sweet that the computer (Louise) loves and protects Kevin. It really shows you how with love, anything is possible. Although, I think that Louise takes protecting Kevin a little too far. Annabel Lee A man and a woman fall in love with each other. The woman dies and the angels take her away. Years later, the man dies too. The couple is finally together again. I think that this is a lovely poem about how true love never really dies. If you truly love someone, your love will last forever. I like how in the end, the two are together.

2. Echo and Narcissus A girl named Echo gets cursed and can only repeat what others say. Echo is in the forest and sees a man named Narcissus and immediately falls in love. Narcissus rejects Echo and then Echo dies of a broken heart. Because of this, Narcissus gets cursed and can only love himself. Since he cant be with himself, he dies too. Also of a broken heart. I think that this is a wonderful myth about how the echo came to be. This myth really teaches me that true love lasts forever. Also, this myth tells me that you need more than just food, water and shelter to live. You also need love. The Only Girl in the World for Me A boy likes a girl but doesnt know how to tell her. He writes a note to the girls friend and finds out that she likes him too. The two kids decide to go to the movies together. At the movies, they find that they are very similar. I think that this is a sweet love story that teaches kids that they will always remember their first love. Also, I like how the story was told from the boys point of view because while they were at the movies, you couldnt tell if the girl liked the boy too. You had to wait until the author wanted you to know.

3. Together Again Sun and Moon grew up together. They used to always sit on the old, wooden swings near the park. They would talk all day while sipping on Sunny-D. As they grew up, they got closer and closer. They were together all the time. In eighth grade, they finally became a couple. Youre always with Moon! I dont feel like were even friends anymore! Suns best friend, Star shouted to Sun one day. Of course we are still best friends Star, lets hang out this weekend, said Sun. No! Im sick of this! Its Moon or me. Pick one, shouted Star. Well then I pick Moon. But, only because if you were a real friend, you wouldnt make me pick, Sun replied. Youll regret this Sun Shine! Star hollered. Star went home that night with revenge on her mind. She knew what she had to do. She had to use a potion on Sun and Moon. A magical potion that would never allow Sun and Moon to be together, ever. Star studied her book on magic potions all night long, and all of the next day. Finally, at last, I found it! exclaimed Star with excitement. She finally found the perfect potion to use. Its payback time. Star gathered everything needed to make the potion. The potion was supposed to be a purple color, but it ended up being a yellow-orange color. Oh well, Star thought to herself.

4. But, how will Star get the two love-birds to drink the potion? Luckily, Star figures out the perfect way to do it. This is going to be sweet, Star says with great satisfaction. Wednesday afternoon, lunch time. Star has study hall right before lunch, so luckily, Star was able to get into Sun and Moons lunchboxes and slip some magic potion into their Sunny-D. Unknowingly, Sun and Moon drank the potion. As soon as the couple drank the potion, the wind pulled them apart from each other. It didnt matter how hard the two tried to get to each other, they kept getting farther and farther apart. Star watches Suns struggle and cant help but laugh at her accomplishment. But, while Star is laughing, something goes horribly wrong. Sun transforms into a humongous ball of fire and shoots into outer space. After Sun is high in the sky, Moon turns into a large, hard, ball of rock. He also flies into the galaxy. But, Moon flies in the opposite direction as Sun did. They are thousands of miles apart. Well, I wasnt expecting that to happen. Oh, well. They are no longer together, so I am happy. Now I dont have to deal with them any longer. Star exclaimed. Star didnt know this, but the school science teacher, Mr. Comet, watched the entire ordeal take place. He went to the library and did some studies. He wanted to help the poor couple. Their lives have been ruined, he had to do something to help them out. Mr. Comet found that if he recited the line, Sun and Moon together again, fifty times in a row, Sun and Moon would get to see each other occasionally. So, that night, Mr. Comet went home and recited the line fifty times in a row. As

5. soon as he said Sun and Moon together again, for the fiftieth time, Sun and Moon appeared before each other. Now, every year, Sun and Moon get to see each other two to five times. It is what we call, a solar eclipse. Sun and Moon talk and laugh all night long. When daylight comes, they both count the days until they will be together again. A picture of a solar eclipse.

6. THEMES The theme of User Friendly is that with love, all things are possible. The theme of Annabel Lee is that true love lasts forever. The theme of Echo and Narcissus is that true love never dies. The theme of The Only Girl in the World for Me is that you will always remember your first love. The theme of our story, Together Again is that true love can overpower anything. <3 All of the themes have to do with love!!! <3
