8. Applications 1.You say I love You to Jesus/God when you obey His words. Are you saying I love You to Jesus? If not, what is one thing Jesus said that you are not doing? Do it. 2.You have a Helper in the indwelling Holy Spirit. Let Him help and give you comfort. 3.You have Jesus promise that He will not leave you, that He will come to you and that the Holy Spirit He sent will be forever. 4.If you want to know Jesus better, the key is to obey His word. He will show Himself to those who obey Him. 5.Our motivation to obey is to please God and express love to Him. It is not just a duty. Christian obedience is not about rules and regulations, it comes from the heart.
