2 Schedule for Orientation 9:00-9:15: Parents and students are in the Cougar Café 9:15-10:00: Students go to their homeroom classes while parents are in the Cougar Café for a presentation from administration 10:00-10:45: Students meet parents in homeroom class and together they tour HCMS.

16 HCMS Dress Code We want our students to consider school a place of work. look. Please help your student to make appropriate choices when selecting clothes for school. A Few Simple Rules: No t-shirts with profanity or advertising alcohol Tank top straps must be two fingers wide Skirts, shorts, and dresses should be finger tip length Pants & Shorts must be worn at the waist Sleepwear is not acceptable attire during the school day Hats may not be worn in school

20 Supporting Academics Stay involved in your childs education. Attend parent conferences. Stay aware of your childs homework and school demands. Attend school events. Try to connect outside experiences to school learning to increase interest and relevance. Make contact with your teachers with any questions or concerns. Tips for Parents

22 Environmental Education Location: NorthBay Adventure Camp Date: November 12 – November 16 Cost: $225 per student $100 per chaperone (full week) $55 per chaperone (half week)

23 Environmental Education Important Dates: September 19 th : Parent orientation meeting at 6:30pm October 22 nd : All medical forms and permission slips due October 29 th : All payments due November 8 th : All medications must be delivered to HCMS health room. No medications will be accepted the morning of the trip!
