1 Microprocessor A microprocessor also called the CPU is the heart of the computer system or any computing device. It is a semiconductor chip which can be programmed to do various functions. It executes the instruction and provides the resultant output. A microprocessor or CPU consists of a control unit and an arithmetic and logical unit (ALU). It is responsible for all the computational, arithmetic, logical and data processing task performed by the computer. Every microprocessor has a fixed set of instruction for its operation. 6 Bus In Computer architecture , a bus (from the Latin omnibus, meaning 'for all') is a communication system that transfers data between components inside a computer , or between computers.  Data Bus A data bus is a computer subsystem that allows for the transferring of data from one component to another on a motherboard or system board, or between two computers. This can include transferring data to and from the memory, or from the CPU to other components. Each one is designed to handle so many bits of data at a time. The amount of data a data bus can handle is called bandwidth. A typical data bus is 32-bits wide. This means that up to 32 bits of data can travel through a data bus every second. Newer computers are making data buses that can handle 64-bit and even 96-bit data paths. At the same time they are making data buses to handle more bits, they are also making devices that can handle those higher bitrates. Design By : M.Masood

7 Address Bus Control Bus
An address bus is a computer bus (a series of lines connecting two or more devices) that is used to specify a physical address. When a processor or DMA enabled device needs to read or write to a memory location, it specifies that memory location on the address bus (the value to be read or written is sent on the data bus). The width of the address bus determines the amount of memory a system can address.  Control Bus In Computer architecture, A control bus is (part of) a Computer bus, used by CPUs for communicating with other devices within the computer. While the address bus carries the information on which device the CPU is communicating with and the data bus carries the actual data being processed, the control bus carries commands from the CPU and returns status signals from the devices. Control bus contains lines that select device (memory or I/O) & causes them to perform a read or write operation. Design By : M.Masood
