33 TIMBERLINE YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION Our Expectations of You Provide a fair and equitable play group for all participants Read, understand and apply the rules of the league Know and obey the laws of the game Laws and rules are different Develop each player to their fullest potential As adults, we serve as role models The model they follow is the one they see when we think they are not looking!

34 TIMBERLINE YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION How things work in D&P We hear about an issue/incident that day or the next at the latest and we look at game reports for compliance We always consult with the referee(s). We always consult with the club President/D&P Committee member for your club. You are the representative of your club at the game site. Your actions reflect on your club, your team and most importantly your family. We will watch your team play. You are the last person we speak with when an issue arises. We will follow rules (TYSA Red Book) to reach a decision

35 TIMBERLINE YOUTH SOCCER ASSOCIATION Keep Your Perspective - you are a Role Model We dont want to D&P a player, a coach or a team The D&P committee is composed of at least one member from each club We dont make emotional decisions nor do we carry vendettas We just apply the rules If you understand the rules and follow them, you will not hit the radar screen
