103. DONT GO GREEN! Every 2000 houses can mean 1 million units of energy saved, or 10 MUs generated with just the switch from Incandescents/ 40W Tlights … to CFLs and LEDs. Thats 50 million units saved a year for a city like Chennai. Or 500 MUs of power generation avoided.

104. DONT GO GREEN! Every 2000 houses can save 70 million liters a year. Nearly a weeks fresh water supply. With aerators / flow restrictors costing less than Rs 2000. Thats 4 billion liters a year for a city of 100,000 households. Treating gray/black water and looping for flush tanks can save a city like Chennai about 400 million liters of water a day.
