2 Paul Revere As A Young Boy
Paul was born in Boston Mass. His parents names were Applos Revere and Deborah Hitchbourn His father was a French Immigrant Paul was the 2nd out of 9, possibly 12 children Paul went to school under Master John Tilston He was taught to be a silversmith by his father

3 Paul Revere As An Adult Paul Revere was a patriot.
Paul Revere married Sarah Orne in August 1757. Paul and Sarah had 8 children. Sarah died in 1773. Soon after Sarah’s death, Paul married Rachel Walker. Paul and Rachel had 8 children. Paul Revere was a very helpful man. Paul Revere saved us from King George.

4 Paul’s Midnight Ride The famous ride occurred on the night of April 18, 1775 His mission was to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams of the movements of the British Army The British Troops were also called Red Coats or Bloody Backs. The British were planning on arresting John Hancock and Samuel Adams. By the end of the night there were approximately 40 riders delivering the news that the British were coming. Revere was detained and questioned at a British roadblock near Concord. Revere escaped from the British when they were distracted by gun shots.

5 Paul Revere After The War
Paul opened a hardware and home goods store. Paul began working with copper. Copper from the Revere Copper Company was used to cover the original wooden dome of the Massachusetts state house in 1802. Revere Ware, pots and pans used today were originally created by Revere Copper Company. Paul Revere died on May 10, 1818 due to illness. He was 83 years old. He is buried in the Old Granary Burying Ground.
