Figure 1 | Current treatments for PNETs. Medical therapy includes drugs and antibodies that target different pathways in cancer cells. Surgery involves the removal or resection of the pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour (PNET). Radiological treatment involves particles or high-frequency waves being delivered externally or internally (for instance, intra-arterially) to the tumour.
