Workshop Technical Services and Field Service Review March 12 th, 1pm-4pm PST Objectives –Educate ASP Field Service and Technical Service teams on BtB initiative –Educate BtB team on Field Service and Technical Service major processes Agenda –Review BtB deployment strategy, scope and timeline –Review current processes between DataFlo/OTC SAP/SouthStar –Review Interfaces between OTC and SouthStar (Service Contracts, FSE Shipments, Asset Update) Identify and capture potential deviations from the current process Capture change impacts Identify and record action items and issues that require follow-up 1
BtB Deployment Strategy Objective – Reduce compliance risks and meet regulatory commitments in mitigating challenges related to existing systems landscape Utilize the BtB foundational template as our Turn-key solution – i.e., OCD Rochester Equipment Manufacturing and Fluids Manufacturing are a very strong process fit Adopt proven, standard processes and technologies – Most ASP functions will need to adapt and adopt new processes – Level of change will vary – but there will be change Expand solution where the template does not meet core requirements – i.e., regulatory needs and required integrations Follow BtB deployment methodology and design governance processes – Project Management processes, Testing Strategy, Data Conversion, Site Readiness, Compliance, etc.
High-Level Scope In-Scope: – Deployment of BtB Template covering core ASP supply chain functions for US operations, primarily: Supply Planning, Sourcing, External Operations, Service Parts Management, Supply Network Collaboration, Internal Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Quality Management, Master Data and Supply Chain Finance – Key integrations with Siperian (MDM), USROTC, EtQ, Baxter, LYNX, SouthStar and others based on output of Fit Assessment – Key technology components that enable processes - such as new RF devices, Zebra printers, SAP GUI installs, etc. Out of Scope: – Demand Planning (will remain with current process) – Revenue Recognition (will remain in DataFlo) – Facilities, infrastructure and PC upgrades – Retirement of legacy systems
High-Level Timeline Key Points: Key Leadership Stage Gates will be used to ensure Project is on-track Kick-Off March 4, 2013 Functional Phase: Fit Assessment, Requirements and Localization Design Technical Phase: Development, Configuration, Unit Testing and Test Preparation Verify Phase: System, Business Simulation, Regression and User Acceptance Testing Deploy Phase: Dress Rehearsal, Training and Cutover Go Live end of January 2014
