THE GREEN HOTEL CONCEPT On Dec. 20, 2003, Si Como Nos Greentique Hotels of Costa Rica expanded operations with the acquisition of Villa Blanca Cloud Forest Hotel & Nature Reserve, near San Ramón de Alajuela in Los Angeles Norte, and the membership of Aguila de Osa Inn in Drake Bay, near Corcovado National Park. We now look forward to share even more of Si Como Nos brand of Sustainable Hospitality as members of the family of employees represented by Greentique Hotels of Costa Rica.

4. C.S.T. (THE CERTIFICATION FOR SUSTAINABLE TOURISM) Greentique Hotels of Costa Rica are members of C.S.T (Certification in Sustainable Tourism), a conservation program created by the Costa Rican Tourism Board (I.C.T.) for a qualified group of Costa Rican hotels. The properties are incorporating several of C.S.T policies to support our goals to diminish the environmental impact of operations by reducing our carbon footprint and help protect the natural resources of the area, including promoting the local culture surrounding of each hotel property. Currently both Si Como No and Villa Blanca retain five Green Leaves by the Certification Committee of CST by the continued practices supervised by their Green Committees, There five Green leaf ranking is granted to only a few other hotel properties out of over 150 CST properties.
