THE TEAM

THE PHILOSOPHY What makes us different The essence of what makes us stand out is commitment and attention to detail. We start by devoting more time at the beginning to help clients find whats best for them. Then, well be on hand throughout the project to make sure it runs smoothly, resolving any issues so that all stays on schedule, and ensuring the end result delivers everything we promised. After hand over, well continue the support with staff training and technical support, clients can rely on us to be there whenever they need. Many customers have come to regard Whitco as an invaluable extension to their own organisations, always helpful, reliable and 100% committed.

THE SERVICE Our Services Our services are comprehensive, and offer as much or as little support as required. Most of our customers choose to have our help throughout the whole process, from initial consultation and design, to supply, installation and then ongoing training and preventative maintenance throughout the guarantee period and thereafter. Supply Were happy to supply a single appliance or an entire kitchen, and well take the time to discover what you want to achieve, and make sure the equipment we supply precisely meets your need. Whitco is proud to be a preferred partner of the worlds leading manufacturers and recommend machines that are innovative, well-designed and robustly made. We design and fabricate our own brand of high quality stainless steel cupboards, tables and sinks that blend seamlessly with the commercial products in your kitchen.

THE SERVICE Design The design stage is critical and where our expertise really shines through. Our consultation establishes clients needs and expectations demonstrated via mood boards, graphics and 3D visuals these are followed by detailed technical drawings. Taking the time at this stage avoids making many revisions, produces the most efficient, cost-effective layout, regardless of whether its a new-build or a renovation. We design around menus, food production or à la carte. Specified equipment is designed into the most ergonomically and practical layout, with the aim to increase productivity from the workflows. If youve been inspired by manufacturers catalogues or the trade press, we can closely match your aspirations with your needs. Equally important, well help you select the best equipment to meet budget, and business yield. Naturally, well work closely with you and your team of contractors, from the design to the handover of the completed project and beyond.

THE SERVICE Installation Installation is a critical phase, we take a structured, disciplined approach that achieves the highest standards of fit and finish, always meeting deadlines. We retain complete control by not sub-contracting any of our work. Your equipment is installed by our own dedicated team of expert engineers and managed by a qualified and experienced Project Manager and Senior Installations Engineer. Our normal plan of action is to meet with all the contractors, assess site together, check the availability and suitability of your utilities, prepare a bill of materials and program of works, and then with your approval commence work. Having installed thousands of kitchens, we have established a fast, efficient way of working that minimises disruption and results in a superb finished product, which exceeds customer expectation.

THE SERVICE Installation

THE SERVICE Training Once you have a carefully designed, beautifully installed kitchen we offer a training program for you and your staff, appropriate to the equipment and tailored to your menus and skill levels. Well take you through specific cooking processes and if you have particularly complex equipment or specialised needs, arrange for the manufacturers chefs to provide extra guidance. Training is undertaken both on site and in our own innovative test kitchen. Its a service many other catering equipment companies do not provide. Whitco, believes that in order for the client to be entirely satisfied with the equipment chosen, they have to see the benefits that it makes to their organisation instantly. We are always ready to go the extra mile for our customers.

THE SERVICE Service and Support We have our own fully qualified service engineers ready to provide a variety of services, from installation, settling in inspections and training support, to contract scheduled maintenance. Reactive & Maintenance Our reactive service team, deal daily with all types of emergency service calls, these range from business critical situations, i.e. machine breakdowns, to gas leaks. The call handling team will allocate the call to a trained engineer, who will attend site and carry out the repair. Our engineers are not only manufacture trained, they also hold Gas Safe, Electrical and Refrigerant handling qualifications. To back up our engineers in the field, we have a large stock of spare parts, which are held in our stores as well as on each vehicle. After each repair, a work sheet will be handed to site, explaining what repairs have been carried out and any recommendations the technician may have. After the repair has successfully been carried out, site will also receive a confirmation email, briefly explaining what actions were taken.
