10 Tooling Costs And Materials First design: MAKROLON ® Tooling cost for a single-part injection mold: 10,000 Cost per unit: 0,30 – 0,40 The logos will be added in the mold with a PC film – Faria ® Second design: MAKROLON ® AND DESMOPAN ® Tooling cost for a 4-imprint co-injection rotating mold: 30,000 Cost per unit: 1,00 – 2,00

11 Sustainability MAKROLON ® (thermoplastic, polycarbonate resin) Production of 1 kg of PC requires the equivalent of about 2 1/2 kg of oil (raw material and energy). Incineration in an incineration plant mainly producess water and carbon dioxide. Heating value is equivalent to 1/2 kg of oil DESMOPAN ® (thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer - TPU) Polyeurethanes can be incinerated mainly producing H2O and CO2 but also NOx. CORRUGATED CARDBOARD – THIN BOARD Are both made from recycled paper. Recycled paper production reduces water use by up to 50% and involves fewer chemical processes. Making cardboard from recycled waste consumes up to 50% less energy than using trees. RICE PAPER Is a compostable and biodegradeable material. ORGANIC INKS (also soya inks) Require less energy and less ink to achieve the same aesthetics, do not contain toxic chemicals or solvents.
