The Change Coolnet effectively participated in the ICT industry in 2009. The plan was to envelop the West Bank of Palestine with one wireless network identity. Provision of high end fully tailored corporate services. Coolnet initial team was 4 personnel, that worked day and night in shifts to secure sales, installations and after sales support.

Power Management Each site chosen was circulated with secondary sites, all sites where interconnected to one another. The main site characterized by being just 2 units larger than any other is interconnected to 2 main sites in districts or villages around it. Result: Fully redundant ring topology based Network

High Towers, are they the choice? Coolnet of all towers has 3 over 100 Ft. towers in its network. Danger to all technicians and riggers. Tower length allows for lightening a major issue which is a complete failure point to our equipment. Installation requires special mounting equipment to allow for the wind forces to not affect alignment. Is every main site such a high tower? Actually no, much of our efforts today are to limit these towers to the usage of redundant backbones for the repeating sites around.

Coolnet Staff Coolnet staff members today are 24 members. 8 field technical members. 3 technical and sales engineers. 2 Networking Engineers. 2 accountants. 5 Technical call support members. 4 members for administrative affairs.

Something is missing… Coolnet in order to further infiltrate, had to take leaps of faith, we successfully participated in our first tendering project valued at 250,000 USD for the Palestinian civil police VPN network. Not only did we win the grant of project implementation, it was as well an excellent reference for our prospects. Post this project Coolnet was able by then to acknowledge new expansions.

Projects implemented by Coolnet UNOPS – PCP installing 23 units of transmitters and receivers at 8 sites for the Palestinian Civil Police. USAID – FLAGSHIP Project installing over 22 sites with Microwave telecom equipment over Coolnet backbone into one VPN. USAID AMIDEAST the project to envelop 57 schools 3 universities into one educational VPN done over Coolnet backbone as well

Closing T HERE ARE DIFFICULTIES IN ENTERING AN IDEA SUCH AS WIRELESS NETWORKING INTO A MARKET. IF IT WORKED IN P ALESTINE IT DEFINITELY CAN BE TUNED TO WORK ANY WHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD ! Thank you!
