Adjusted odds-ratios for different plaque features in relation to diabetes. Binary logistic regression analysis was performed for different plaque features as a dependent and diabetes as a co-variate. The odds-ratio was adjusted for potential plaque confounders (age, gender, symptoms, and statin use). The black circle represents the Athero-Express. We were able to compare our findings with previously reported plaque features and diabetes within the Oxford plaque study (light grey box=Oxford Plaque study) [15].
