Hi! My Name is Mrs. Stephanie Pender! I am 30 years young! I live in Lake Charles with my husband Trey and our three children: Bryce (7), Kalli (5), and Karah (1). I enjoy being in the water, whether that means in the boat on the river or at the beach in Florida; summer is my favorite season for that reason. I recently picked up a new hobby: running. It goes along great with my other hobby: baking! I know these two do not seem like they belong together, but they cancel each other out.  Most of all, I enjoy being with my family. I will be your child’s 7th grade Reading/ELA teacher for the school year! This will be my 6th year teaching, and I am excited to make this one of my best years yet.

I grew up in Sulphur, LA, but when I was in 8th grade my family moved to the small community of Fairview in Allen Parish. I graduated from Fairview High School in Small schools and communities make me feel at home.
