My name is Mrs. Annette Painter! I am a Gifted Exploratory teacher at East Lake Elementary! This will be 14th year teaching, 3nd here at ELE! My husband’s name is Charles. We’ve been married for 13 years. We have 2 beautiful children,
Mckenzie (6) and Mason (20 months). We also have a fur baby named Jessie Marie.
She’s our Labrador Retriever.
My Childhood!
I grew up in Riverdale, Georgia. I had a pretty amazing childhood with some fun adventures such as riding in a side car in my parent’s motorcycle and bouncing around on my trampoline. I loved going to the skating rink, playing ‘house’ on the front porch with my Cabbage Patch Kids, and visiting my family in Virginia.

I graduated from Georgia State University with an Exercise Science degree. I worked 4 years as a Wellness Director with senior citizens. I loved my seniors, but found my passion for teaching children! I obtained my master’s in post-secondary Education and Specialist in Educational Technology from University of Florida. Go Gators!
