2. Changes The title of this unit is Changes.
In this unit, you will find out about how people adapt to change, how we react to change, and about our identity.
How do you feel when things change?
What are some changes you have experienced or chosen to make?

3. Many things change: the weather, the school you attend, the house you live in.
What are some other examples of things that change?
Have you ever changed your mind about something? What was it?
Some changes are inevitable like the seasons or children growing up. Some changes are the result of personal choices.
Have you ever decided to change something about yourself or your life?

4. Inquiry Project
On Day 5 you will begin an inquiry project. An inquiry is an investigation where students ask questions to find new information. As we work through the first week of this unit, if you have questions or are curious about topics relating to our heritage, remember to post them on the Question Board. The questions, ideas, and pictures posted will help guide your Inquiry Project. Write one thing you already know about changes on a sticky note and post it to the Question Board with your initials on it.
