6. The ASSOCIATION NATIONALE POMMES POIRES is the French apples and pears producers and producers organisations association. About 160 direct members which means 1 500 producers all over France. The main production areas are represented by their leaders. About 900 000 tons of apples which represents 55% of the total French production and 35 000 tons of pears which is 15% of the corresponding production The ANPP is a member of GEFeL which brings together all French fresh fruits and vegetables associations. It is also active in INTERFEL, a French association for fresh fruits and vegetables sector. At the international level, it participates in both Freshfel and Wapa.
