Canada's Parliament consists of the Queen and two houses: the elected House of Commons and the appointed Senate. The Senate consists of 105 senators and the House of Commons consists of 308 members
The most important person in the government The head of government is the Prime Minister Stephen Harper. The most important person of the rights of honor (except the queen) is the Governor-General David Lloyd Johnston
