12 Work Hard – Effort Levels
Letters were sent home at the start of Year 11 for those with Insufficient/Poor on their end of Year 10 report. New reports were sent home before half term. These are being reviewed by pastoral staff and subject leaders to put support and guidance in place. Good effort - Shows a good interest in their learning and is attentive and focused; - Always has the correct equipment and planner with them for every lesson; - Responds well to feedback and targets and completes work to the expected standard; - Shows resilience and is willing to persevere when things are difficult; - Presentation of work is always to a good standard; - Takes responsibility for their work and is well organised; - Always on time for lessons and ready to learn; - Willingly does all that is asked of them and sometimes more; - Always produces homework to a good standard; - Consistently makes a good effort across all areas.
