3. Labels, Labels, Labels
Please check that every item of clothing, footwear, water bottles, packed lunch boxes, homework bags, school bags are labelled clearly.

Free School Meal Entitlement
All primary 1 pupils receive free school meals but unless registered entitled for free school meals through council, they will still have to pay 20p for milk.

5. Breakfast Club Every morning in school from 8.15am.
Children can be dropped off at the main entrance.
Breakfast includes cereal, toast, fruit, milk/fruit juice
Pupils pay 60p for their breakfast
Unless they are registered through the council for a free school meal, in which case they do not pay for breakfast club at all.

6. Homework Homework will begin week beginning 28th August
All homework for the week will be handed out on a Monday to be returned on Friday.
Homework should last no more than 15 minutes a night.

7. First 4 Weeks of homework
Tasks:
2 Rhyme activities
1 Health and Wellbeing target (with grid to colour)
1 Numeracy task

8. Homework after September Weekend
Tasks:
Sounds and jolly phonics (2 sounds per week)
1 Health and Wellbeing Task
1 Numeracy Task

9. What to expect in Homework Bags
1 homework jotter
1 sounds jotter
1 common word tubs (after October week)
Numeracy sheet (either stuck in jotter or loose depending on size)
H&WB grid

10. Whiteboards and letters
Exact copy of what the children will be using in the classroom
1 set of magnetic letters
1 magnetic whiteboard
1 alphabet grid
Cost of £10 and can be purchased tonight and then subsequently from the school office.
