PROFESSIONAL COACHING - Tuesday night Clinics
Developmental Soccer - Rising Rangers (Boys) & Rising Strikers (Girls)
OBGC are once again welcoming families of 1st and 2nd grade boys & Girls to register for the newly formed Developmental soccer program this upcoming Fall season The program will be set up and run as it always has done but the Club have given funds to Improve and help the parent Volunteer coaches. (Volunteer coaches will be expected to run Sat games)
Tuesday night training will be headed by Alan Pringle and the club are providing professional qualified trainers to run each teams training session. Many of the professional trainers are part of the OBGC Select program and coach OBGC Select teams between the ages U9 – U18 such as Alan Pringle, Darren Beesley and Gavin Dodd. These trainers will work alongside the parent Volunteer (the volunteer coach will simply assist the professional Trainer on Tuesday nights)
The developmental program emphasizes skill and technical development.
Developmental soccer is for 1st and 2nd grade children with the majority of children born in the years 2010 & 2011. 
Next progression from the Instructional program and gives the base for players/teams who enter either House or Select Soccer going into 3rd Grade.
Players are placed in groups of players per team.
Each team will have the usual parent volunteer Coach like in past years.
Professional trainer work with each of the volunteer coaches (Volunteer coaches will be expected to run Sat games)
Games will be played in a 4v4 format.
There is no grading or tryouts for Developmental Soccer nor is here any preseason or postseason play.
Schedule and Location
First practice will begin in September 5th and will run through October 30st
Tues Practices will take place at OBGC Field #4
Girls 5:30-6:30
Boys 6:30-7:30
Developmental Soccer games will begin in September 9th and run through November 4th.

We are always looking for more coaches! If you enjoy working with and playing with children please consider volunteering. If you are interested in coaching please sign up to coach on the OBGC website.
A Note about Registration
Due to a rapidly growing program and a limited number of fields and volunteer coaches, OBGC is forced to limit the number of players in each league and on each team. Please register as early as possible.
