Fluid Heater System P50-0021 110 REPLACE BURNER FUEL FILTERS P50-0033 230 CLEAN PUMP STRAINER Clean the line strainer between the type I tank and pump. Inside the fuel pump is a screen for straining out large particles from going through the system. Once annually, this screen should be removed and cleaned. The screen is accessed by removing the top of the fuel pump. Replace burner fuel filters.

Fluid Heater System PM50-0100 115 INSPECT HEATER COILS FOR CARBON BUILDUP Visually inspect the coil of the heat exchanger for carbon build up or blockage. With the gun assembly removed, inspection can be accomplished with a drop light or flash light.

Fluid Heater System P50-0022 120 Inspect Burner Gun Assy. Remove gun assembly in the burner and inspect for component wear or deterioration.

Fluid Heater System P50-0022 120 Inspect Burner Gun Assy. Replace electrodes, insulators and buss bars. ElectrodeInsulatorBuss Bar

Fluid Heater System P50-0022 120 Inspect Burner Gun Assy. Clean excess carbon residue off gun assembly. Acceptable Gun Not Acceptable Gun

Fluid Heater System P50-0022 120 Inspect Burner Gun Assy. Clean flame detector cad eyes. Cad Cell Primary Control

Fluid Heater System P50-0023 130 Inspect Burner Wiring P50-0024 140 Inspect Burner Fuel Lines

Fluid Heater System P50-0025 150 CHECK BURNER TRANSFORMERS Test transformer for strong arc. Arc should be tested with screw driver across the two transformer posts. Spark should jump approximately 5/8". Reinstall gun assembly and align transformer posts with electrode buss bars.

Fluid Heater System P50-0026 160 SERVICE HEATER BLOWERS Inspect blower “squirrel cage”. Ensure squirrel cage spins freely. Apply lubricating oil to the bearings on the blower motor via the lubricating tubes. Blower Motor Squirrel Cage Fuel Pump

Fluid Heater System P50-0027 170 INSPECT FOR EXCESS FUEL Look for excess fuel in and around the blower motor, squirrel cage, and fuel pump. Blower Motor Fuel Pump

Fluid Heater System P50-0028 180 INSPECT THERMOCOUPLES Visually inspect thermal couple between fuel pump and blower motor for cracking and or wear.

Fluid Heater System P50-0029 190 INSPECT FLOW SWITCHES Inspect flow switch bonnets for excessive wear and debris. Test the sliding mechanism for smooth operation.

Fluid Heater System P50-0031 200 REPLACE BURNER FUEL NOZZLES Replace burner fuel nozzles with correct type for fuel being used in station.

Fluid Heater System P50-0030 210 OPS-CHECK HEATERS Start and run individual heaters for operations check. 123

Aerial Lift System

Critical Fasteners

Aerial Lift Maintenance. All critical fasteners must be visually inspected for rotation and signs of failure. The torque seal mark should be in acceptable condition

Critical Welds

Operational Checks

Maintenance Lubrication WARNING: KEEP CLEAR OF THE GEARS WHILE ROTATING THE AERIAL LIFT AND ALWAYS REINSTALL THE COVERS AFTER COMPLETING THE LUBRICATION. ANYTHING CAUGHT BETWEEN THE GEARS WILL BE CRUSHED.
