4 “SMART” Goals are Well Defined Goals Specific Make clear the details of each goal. Measurab le Describe the concrete criteria that will be used to determine progress and confirm achievement of the goal. Attainable Goals should be within the capability of the person responsible for achieving them. Relevant Goals should support the overall strategy and mission of the company. Time bound Goals should contain specific milestones and deadlines.

5 “SMART” Goals Example “Try to improve our customer satisfaction as quickly as possible.” “Implement a customer satisfaction program to increase satisfaction rates by 10% by year end. 10 Manage Your Goals Regularly review goals by: checking goal status add Achievements as needed asking “Is goal still achievable?” add Action Plans as needed

11 Editing Goals, Action Plans and Achievements 1.Select “EDIT” or click the box with an arrow and then select “EDIT GOAL” 2.Make any required edits to the goal, measurement, weight, status, start and due dates 3.Select “+ ADD ACTION PLAN” and follow prompts to enter action plan 4.Select “+ ADD ACHIEVEMENT” and follow prompts to document achievements 5.Select “SAVE CHANGES” when complete How To Edit A Goal
