All efforts are made by Government to bring back BLACK MONEY to India. Tax regime is transforming to more transparency due to digitalization. Making whole country as ONE COMMON MARKET by introduction of GST. ‘MAKE IN INDIA’ drive has really made Indians proud not only in India but Abroad also. Recognition from Government, Officials,Bankers, etc., that scrap is an INDUSTRY. Removing of scrap duty on imports of scrap as it is raw material which would help in reducing Carbon emission and controlling cost of production. Implementation of Carbon credits policy to benefit smelters who encourage recycling. More reforms in procedures by Government for Risk management by allowing companies to hedge their metal exposure in USD in easier way. Bank Financing at preferential rates for making capital expenditure in recycling projects like Electronic waste recycling, Auto shredding, Converting garbage to Power, etc. Developing SEZ rules and regulations which are not only harmonized but keeping in mind practicalities of scrap recycling industry. Encouraging investment and creating awareness in Recycling sector by such conferences.
