2. Gallery Walk Process You will be traveling with a group. Your group will be given a number. That’s what station you start at. You working in ascending order. You will have 5-6 Minutes per station so you need to hustle! Latitude Definition: distance from the equator, lines are horizontal Explanation: It affects temperature by: closer to the equator, the hotter the temperature Prompt: Sketch a globe with imaginary continents. Draw the equator. Mark 5 places (1 hot, 2 moderate, and 2 cold) on the globe to show the temperature effect. 5

Air/Prevailing Winds Definition: winds that blow from a single direction over a particular point on the Earth’s surface Explanation: Because of the tilt of the earth, wind currents help create the different seasons, and brings moisture (rain). Therefore inside of continents are drier than the outside of continents. Prompt: sketch an imaginary continent that shows which part is arid and which is humid (rainier) 2
