6 Air Force COOL Who is eligible? What does AF COOL provide? Identifies credentials directly related to specialties; provides skill gap analysis; available on AF COOL website Funding for credentials; $4,500 Lifetime Cap; apply via AFAEMS Unlimited AFSC specialty-related credentials; up to cap Unlimited leadership/management credentials (SNCOs) (i.e. Project Mgmt Professional) What will AF COOL fund? Credentialing exams Fees Credentialing application/administration fees Credentialing coursework and books Recertification fees up to the lifetime cap

7 Required Qualifications: Current and passing PT test Not have a current UIF Not be currently on a control roster Not have a referral EPR Must be Enlisted on Title 10 or Title 32 (502 F)Active Duty Status Credential or License must be completed while on Active Duty

8 Air Force COOL Mechanic (Airframe & Powerplant) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Manager (CM) Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Professional in Human Resources (PHR) CompTIA Security+ ce 767+ Credentials! Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Certified Petroleum Apprentice (CPA) Level 1 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certified Safety Professional (CSP) National Council Licensure Examination for Practical/Vocational Nurses (NCLEX-PN) Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)

9 Airman goes back into system and Request AF COOL Funding Airman selects credential and enrolls in AF COOL (Provides supporting Documentation) Airman provides verification of score completion/ Completes EOC Survey Supervisor approves AF COOL Verifies Eligibility and Processes Payment Airman takes test
