2016 Idaho Chapter Constituent Meeting Welcome

The Idaho Lacrosse Association (ILA) is a regional chapter of US Lacrosse, the national governing body for lacrosse in the United States. It is comprised of volunteers from all levels of both the men’s and women’s games in Idaho. The ILA develops, supports, and promotes lacrosse in the state of Idaho.

Idaho Lacrosse Association We receive money from US Lacrosse to help support the sport in Idaho. Our lacrosse groups here in Idaho help us decide how they would like us to support the sport.

VISION: We envision a future which offers people everywhere the opportunity to discover, learn, participate in, enjoy and ultimately embrace the shared passion of lacrosse experience. Additionally, we promote a positive playing environment, a unified front for lacrosse interests in Idaho, and a communication vehicle for those involved in this great game.

Idaho Lacrosse Association We have a responsibility to report everything we do – board meetings, budget, and how we use our grants back to USL. USL also provides our different organizations with many grant opportunities such as first stick grants, coaches education opportunities, positive coaches clinics and officials education opportunities

The Idaho Lacrosse Association has four main goals: Foster a positive environment for lacrosse in Idaho Provide support to the leagues for the recruitment, training, and growth of coaches at all levels Provide support to the officiating organizations in Idaho for the recruitment, training, and growth of officials at all levels Promote the sport in Idaho through outreach, communication, and events to assist the growth of the game.
