21 POLY HIGH: Office of Student Assessment 9 th – NATIONAL FITNESS EXAM * 9 th – National Fitness Exam * The FITNESSGRAM is composed of the following six physical fitness areas: * Aerobic Capacity * Abdominal Strength and Endurance * Upper Body Strength and Endurance * Body Composition * Trunk Extensor Strength * Flexibility

22 POLY HIGH: Office of Student Assessment 10G – CST LIFE SCIENCE * 10 th – CST – LIFE SCIENCE * ALL 10 th graders take the LIFE SCIENCE portion of the CST’s on APRIL 19, 2016. * CST’s are taken with pencil and paper. * CST’s are slowly being phased out. * CST’s will eventually be fully replaced by the SBAs.

23 POLY HIGH: Office of Student Assessment 11G – SMARTER BALANCED ASSESSMENTS * 11 th – Smarter Balanced Assessments * ALL 11 th G will take the SBA’s * During the testing window from April 20 – June 6, 2016 * This is the 21 st Century ONLINE assessment! * English and Math * The CSU Early Assessment Program (EAP) is embedded! * This is a HUGE added benefit for our students! * More details in a moment

(ADAPTIVE)
