14  Freud believed that people were naturally aggressive, or it was innate (inevitable). In order to control this aggressive instinct people do things to reduce the tension or “get it out of their system.”  Recent ideas think aggressive sports or aggressive movies help to reduce aggressive behaviors in people. What do you think?

15  Freud tested his theory and found that most people found aggressive comic strips more humorous than non-aggressive comic strips.

16  This was the common view point of aggression until Albert Bandura’s experiments  Bandura was a Social learning Psychologist. Social Learning  When we observe Behaviors around us and we imitate Those.

17  Bandura wanted to explain aggressive behaviors so he created an experiment with a bobo doll. Where kids watched adults exhibit aggressive behavior to the bobo doll.  What do you think the kids did?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqNaLerMNOE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqNaLerMNOE
