12 Destination?

13 Where can we go? Not a free choice anymore for semester 4. First application round – placements outside of Europe (deadline December 1 st, 13.00, 2015) – ISM-students can apply in this round in order to find a placement outside of Europe. If they are nominated for a placement in this application round they cannot apply in the second or third rounds. (These two rules apply to all students at LNU, not just ISM-students)

14 Where can we go? Second application round – placements within Europe + remaining placements from round one outside of Europe (deadline February 1 st, 13.00, 2016) – For the exchanges within Europe, ISM-students can only choose placements within Europe that have been designated exclusive for ISM- students. A list of these placements will be available later this fall. An ISM-student can chose to exchange one option in his or her application within Europe for a placement outside of Europe but does then stand the risk of not being nominated at all.

15 Where can we go? Third application round – remaining placements from round one and two + possible new placements from new exchange agreements signed after January 2016 (deadline May/June 2016). – The ISM-students who have not been nominated for an exchange placement in round one or two will only be able to choose amongst the remaining exchange placements within Europe pointed out in round two. – The ISM-students who are not nominated or chose not to accept their nomination, alternatively fails to accept their nomination on time, will not be offered any more chances. In order to participate in semester 4 the students will then have to find a placement of their own somewhere as a freemover and not as an exchange student. As a freemover the student will have to pay tuition at the university which he or she applies to.
