3 mohCare’s products Patient engagement app – find physicians, rate and review, schedule appointments (static and dynamic), view appointment status, bill pay, prescription refills Cloud-based physician practice management software – Optimize scheduling, view live patient traffic, handle bottlenecks, billing, prescription refills and improve workflow by the use of machine learning and data analysis.

4 #1 User experience framework Problem: Mohcare aims to disrupt the health care industry by empowering patients with data and facilitating collaboration between patients and their care teams. We are building an application that lets patients find doctors in their network, read reviews, compare costs, access their family’s health records and has 3 primary functions – schedule appointments, bill pay and prescription refills. There is also a gamification element to the patient’s user profile. Capstone project: As part of this capstone project, we want to focus on the interface – the basic layout, the overall themes, colors, images, buttons etc. Your main objective is to make the app easy to use and make navigation as simple as possible.

5 #2 Bill pay Problem: Most patients do not understand their medical bills and have no idea what they are expected to pay before their visit. 98% of health plans offer cost calculator tools, but only 2% use them! Also, research shows that patients will pay their medical bills faster, if it were easier. Capstone project: As part of this capstone project, we want to focus on a prototype that simplifies the patient bill pay experience - providing clear explanation of their bills, easy bill pay options, greater insights, thereby allowing patients to understand their out of pocket expenses in advance and a delightful payment experience.

6 #3 Prescription refills Problem: The average wait time to see a new doctor is 18.5 days. The average wait time at the doctor’s office is 23 minutes. The average wait time to fill a prescription is 45 minutes. Long waits have become the norm in the health care industry and Mohcare aims to change this by disrupting the healthcare industry with an innovative patient engagement app. Capstone project: As part of this capstone project, we want to focus on building a quick and convenient way for patients to set prescription refill reminders, send prescription requests to physicians and pharmacies by a simple tap or scan a barcode, view refill status, request foe delivery and never experience a wait time ever again!

7 #4 Dynamic Patient scheduling Problem: Most health care providers have patients who do not show up for their scheduled appointments. On average, just 10 no-shows can cost a provider up to $57,000 in revenue. As a result, they resort to double- booking which increases patient wait-time. Mohcare aims to resolve this through a patient engagement app that can help them reduce no-shows and patient wait times by online appointments that are dynamic in nature. Capstone project: As part of this capstone project, we want to focus on simplifying the patient appointment scheduling experience and reducing patient wait-times through access to live patient flow, approximate wait times and the ability to schedule/reschedule appointments with just a tap.
