My Ambassador Presentation By Roni Ann Stock https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRgeudBT-Bw

What are the key British values?

In short, the rule of law is a system of government in which a society maintains a set of good, just, and fair laws by which it and its government will be governed. The government control the country, this is how we receive our rights and responsibilities. They make sure the rules are obeyed and keep the county safe from danger by determining the rules of Britain. School: -We have rules at school - it’s important to follow these rules to prepare us for the future

The definition of the word democracy is “rule by the people.” It is derived from a Greek word coined from the words demos (“people”) and kratos (“rule”). A democracy is a vote, where people have a say in who runs their country. School: -We learn about this in assembly - We have voted for school councilors - -We have recently seen democracy in action- Choosing to leave the EU (my family voted to STAY!!!)

Individual liberty is where you have the freedom to believe and achieve what you desire. Many children around the world do not have the freedom to do the simple daily things that we do such as; an education, a clean wash every day and even if they do have a chance to go to school they would have to walk miles every day, where as we have not only cars but different types of transport too. Many people are not allowed to even have a voice. In some countries if you have a say or speak without permission you could easily get arrested. Surly everybody deserves a right to express their opinions and to have their voice heard. School: It’s important to have a voice- if appointed ambassador I would Encourage people to use their voice

Respect is a strong and important power within every one, I believe a variety of cultures and religions enrich great Britain and make our country our country. Malala is a young girl who stood up for her girl peers and gave them a right to have an education. She showed the Taliban that we should all have respect to those with different faiths, religions and beliefs. -School *We learn about religions *We visit places of worship *Many friends with a variety of religions and beliefs.

Thank you for your time! If appointed school ambassador I will not let you down
