Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are a Government sponsored initiative enabling access to knowledge & technology KTP encourages collaboration between universities and industry They are a flexible programme of between 12 months to 3 years which address issues strategic to company development, e.g. - develop new/improved products - enhance business process - facilitate more effective management systems

3. Suitable areas for programmes could include: Product design/development/improvement Manufacturing process Process/product validation Marketing and commercialisation Installation of systems (management; quality; ICT and environmental). KTPs are not sector specific

The University of Warwick KTP Office Warwick currently has 6 Knowledge Transfer Partnerships Acts as a contact and information point for companies, academics and graduates Facilitates introductory meetings between partners Provides support for companies and academics to complete the online application forms via the KTP Innovate UK website at https://connect.innovateuk.org/web/ktphttps://connect.innovateuk.org/web/ktp Provides advice and support for the duration of the project
