13 Based on your Learning Agreement You need a personal username and a password, you get it from room SOC-132 Fill in the OIS information and start registration the courses in OIS Later Making the changes to the Originally Proposed Learning Agreement Allowed to do 30 days from the beginning of your studies. 14 How to make timetable at OIS? Once you have access to OIS, please use Personal Timetable option. When you use Search, you get also courses in Estonian with the same course code, then please look, is under the course written English programme group code? Study programme options: full-time studies, optional courses, distance learning, doctoral studies. Language Center courses (you get by e-mail) Physical Education courses are not in the timetable. If you do not find the course, please inform me!

16 Changing Learning Agreement- From 19. September 2016 Agree first changes with your home university!!! 17 Lectures and results The first lecture is the most important Be sure from the beginning what do the lecturer requires Lectures, and exam times, rules will be arranged by the lecturer The lecturer is the person, who gives the grade TUT has Passed/failed courses, no grade! After your studies you will get an official document with your exam results These will be sent in February 2017

18 Grading at TUT Grading system: 5 „A“– excellent 4 „B“– very good 3 „C“– good 2 „D“– satisfactory 1 „E“– sufficient 0 „F“- failed A – assessed (passed) – no grade! One ECTS corresponds to twenty six (26) hours of studies (lectures, seminars, practice, home works) performed by student.

21 How to find the right room? TUT room marking system consists of the building number, floor and room number. For example, Mobility Office U02-201 2nd building, II floor (in Estonia Ist floor is ground lever floor), room no 01. Extensions of buildings are marked with letter B after the building no.

23 Security Inform your parents that you have arrived, later, how is going on. 112 Emergency, Police, Fire: Say what happened, where, your name. Using android mobile, your location will be detected automatically. Not too much alchochol in the public places. Keep your behaviour under the control. Collecting your phone numbers, in case of emergency.

25 Student from EU Must register your living place! Apply for an ID card within 30 days at the Police and Boarder Guard Bureau Filling in the living place registration documents today at 15:10. 26 Non EU student Long term VISA AND TRP give you the right to live and study in Estonia Students who arrive with the visa don’t get the ID card, no more bureaucracy! Students with temporary living permit (TRP) from the beginning Students who apply for TRP in Estonia Students who apply for TRP or visa outside of Estonia Consultation, filling in the documents-Please agree the time with us. University confirmations from Mobility Office.

27 FAQ How will I make my individual study plan? – Step by step, searching your courses out from the timetable If I don’t find the course from the timetable? – Inform us by e-mail If the courses are overlapping? – Choose the one you prefer If I want to change courses after the „Course registration day?“- Turn to us Who will help me? – Mobility Office, International Club, your buddy, Dean’s Office, Lecturer.
