This is a planning because manager has a strategic objective to achieve after the workshop.

At that time employees get a chance to know each other and develop their relationship. From that event, coworkers work as team to accomplish business objectives.

For example if a manager choose to let people work independently and gives good results. This is a form of leading called laisse-faire.

In Bank a manager can control a teller if she is giving customer care to the clients.

9 Three primary management styles  Directing This is a style where manager tells the employees what to do, how to do it, and when it needs to be done. No participation of workers in decision making (Freifeld, 2013).  Scenario that can be applied to this style This can be used in place where they work under pressure of deadlines. The manager has to inform everyone what to do, in order to control well who is doing what he or she is supposed to be doing.

10 Directing style  Strengths  It makes works faster  Save time  Avoid the misuse of resources  Weakness  Omit the freedom of expression to employees  Discourage innovation at the work place.

11 Three primary management styles  Delegating This is a style promotes learning through empowerment. With this style, the manager assigns tasks to employees to work independently, either individually or in groups(Freifeld, 2013). Scenario where they can be applied In time when there is an emergency in a company, and the manager wants to get multiple solutions. It might be good for a manager to assign everyone what to do, in order to get everything on time.

12 Delegating style Strengths  Happiness in the company  Build self-confidence of employees  innovation Weakness  Take longtime to make decision  Delay time to accomplish the tasks

13 Three primary management styles  Discussing This is a style which promotes learning through interaction. The manager work as facilitator through the discussion of critical thinking to come up with strong responses and everyone contribute to the solution(Freifeld, 2013). Scenario where this can be appropriate If in a company workers are claiming to get an increase in their salaries. It should be a meeting of all in order to discuss about the adjustments of their salaries. It is the agreement of all of them which will drive to the decision.

14 Discussing style Strengths  Collaboration  Work for the same goal  Brings innovative ideas Weakness  Overuses of resources  Take longtime to make decision  Hard to respond in emergency
