12 Reflect on the following: A recognized theory in the academic world of conflict resolution is game theory. It is thought to be helpful because it provides tools for the analysis and even eventual solution of conflicts of all kinds, including international conflicts. In light of this,  In what sense can play be a metaphor for peacebuilding?  How did cricket help India make peace with Pakistan?  List three obstacles to peace building in the video, e.g., commoditization of cricket players.

13 Create a Discussion Board (DB) entry with the following:  Post a one paragraph assessment of cricket as a metaphor for peace building.  After posting your initial entry, respond to at least THREE other student entries in a meaningful way. 18 Reflect and share with your local group the following:  Both Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Nandan Nilekani stress the importance of education, infrastructure (electricity, roads, and water), and technology. In what ways are their ideas critical for building peace in Africa and India?  English was the language of the imperialists. Now it is the language of globalization. In what ways is knowledge of English a blessing or a curse for resolving global conflicts?  Nilekani argues that India needs to avoid replacing the diseases of poor countries with diseases of rich countries. Explain. **Continue for more Reflection and Discussion topics

19 Reflect and share with your local group the following:  Nilekani argues that higher education is not keeping pace with demands. How are you attempting to keep pace with demands through higher education? How can this contribute to your country’s peacebuilding attempts?  P.K. Shetty, et. al., argue that higher education in India must be improved if India is “to meet the challenges of globalization.” What evidence do they give? **Back to initial Reflection and Discussion topics
