7. This unit focuses on conflict resolution and peacebuilding in India. In particular, it considers the game of cricket both as a metaphor for and a means of achieving peace in India. It also looks at factors that will lead to a brighter future for India, including higher education and community policing.

It is thought to be helpful because it provides tools for the analysis and even eventual solution of conflicts of all kinds, including international conflicts.
