3 West Region: Highlights - YTD Q1 Overview based on the following geography: – The West region captures the markets of Boise, Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Spokane and West Texas/New Mexico, plus additional cities not captured in those markets 2016 vs. 2015, avocado dollars grew +3% and was -2 points behind Total U.S. (+5%) – Category dollars trailed total produce (+5%) by -2 points – Category volume grew +25% – Category average selling price (ASP) decreased -18% to $0.79/unit – Bagged avocados drove dollar and volume growth, adding +$12.9MM and +26.3MM units to the category – Bagged avocado ASP declined -33% to $0.60/unit, and was -12% lower than the national average West posted the highest dollars and units per store per week – West averaged $833 and 1055 units per store per week through Q1 2016 3

6 West vs. Total U.S. - YTD Q1 PLU Comparisons West avocado dollar sales increased +3%, -2 points behind Total U.S. (+5%) – Volume increased +25%, +8 points ahead of Total U.S. Bagged avocados drove dollar and volume growth, adding +$12.9MM and +26.3MM units to the category – Bagged avocados held the second largest dollar share in West – Bagged avocado ASP declined -33% to $0.60/unit, and was -12% lower than the national average 6 West Lagged Total U.S. in Dollar Growth, But Outpaced Total U.S. in Volume Growth
