2 Who is usually affected by disease.  Which is often accompanied by pain or general discomfort.  Or 40,000 people in the U.S. are affected.  Diabetes, Hypertension or high blood pressure, Trauma, Toxins and Infections.

3 Prognosis  The prognosis for bell’s palsy is generally very good with or without treatment most patients begin to get significantly better within 2 weeks.  About 80 percent recover completely within 3 months prognosis is the out come of bell’s palsy.

4 Nervous system  Bell’s palsy strikes men and women equally, usually between the ages of 15 and 60.  In 1821, he demonstrated that the facial nerve was a separate nerve.  They are over 40.000 Americans each year.

5 Symptoms  Palsy means weakness or paralysis in one side of your face that causes it to droop.  Causes drooling, eye problems, loss of ability to taste.  Pain in or behind your ear.
