1. 3.3 SoftSPS Software Installation 1.Go to \\Master\ControlSetup\IPC Setup (Drivers & Softwares) and access the SoftSPS folder as shown in the picture below. 1

2. 2.In the SoftSPS folder, execute the IBHAutorun application file as shown in the picture below. 2

3. 3.When execute, a browser as shown below will appear. Select the option “Soft SPS S7 Installation”. 3

4. 4.A few Security Warning pop-ups will appear as shown below. Just select “Run” if encountered. 4

5. 5.Then a language selection box will appear. Select “English” and click “OK” to continue. 5

6. 6.Key in the information as shown below when prompt and then click “Next” to proceed. 6

7. 7.Check the “SoftPLC S7-416” box as shown below. ONLY check the “CIF-30/50 board driver” if hardware is available. When done with selection, just click “Next” to proceed to the next step. Only Check this when Hilscher Profibus Card (CIF50-PB) exists otherwise uncheck it. 7

8. 8.When prompt for serial number and PIN code, enter only valid license key for that particular IPC as every serial number is unique and cannot be use repeatedly to avoid licensing issue. Then continue the installation until finish. (Note: a sample license certificate is shown on next page) 1.) 2.) 8

9. 9.The following shown the SoftPLC license certificate which provided a valid Serial No (top) and PIN Code (bottom). Serial No. Pin No. (Provided by Supplier) 9

10. 10.Next, go “IPC Setup” found in “Master” and access the “Copy To C” folder. From there, access the “SoftPLC” folder as shown below. 10

11. 11.For IPC with CIF50-PB hardware ONLY, copy the “plc43.ini” file from “Without PCIO” folder to C:\SofPLC. 12.For IPC with CIF50-PB hardware AND Advantech PC I/O hardware, copy the “plc43.ini” from “With PCIO” folder to C:\SofPLC. 13.For IPC with Advantech PC I/O hardware ONLY, copy the “plc43.ini” from “Full PCIO” folder to C:\SofPLC. 11

12. 14.Copy the correct file and click “Yes” to overwrite the original file when prompt. Example below is from “With PCIO” folder. 12

13. 15.ONLY PROCEED the steps below when PC I/O hardware is available else skip this installation part and proceed straight to step 4.20. 16.Access “IPC Setup” found in “Master” and enter “Advantech Input Output” folder as shown below. 13

14. 17.After that, access the “Configuration” folder and execute “S7ExtDrvConfig”. 14

15. 18.Check the “Edit Mode” check box and then fill in the information below. When done, “Save” it and “Exit”. Numbers Of Cards = Total number of PC I/O hardware installed. 16. 19.Next, rollback and access the “SoftPLC” folder as shown below and copy all its contents into C:\SoftPLC. 16

17. 20.Then create a shortcut of plc416.exe from C:\SoftPLC then move the “shortcut to plc416” into the startup folder which located in C:\Dcouments and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and RENAME shortcut as “SoftPLC416”. 17

19. 21.Finally, execute the SoftPLC software from the Windows start menu. Then, click on SoftPLC GREEN box at the right hand side on the taskbar. 19
