2. Fish Pie: Filling This fish pie recipe is one of my Dad’s (and is stolen from Spain)! We don’t use measurements! We used salmon & cod added to a base of fried onion and carrot (I chose the fish). We added white wine, tarragon, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper for flavour. To thicken we used crème fraiche and gluten free flour.

3. Fish Pie: Topping The topping was made from mashed potato (with added butter and milk). The potatoes were cooked in a pressure cooker to stop them going soggy.

4. Fish pie: The Verdict Everyone loved it. Even Clem ate it. Dad was jealous because it was better than his!

12. A note from Dad… Joe did a very good job. He needed help from a ‘tame adult’ to work the pressure cooker and some other bits and pieces. However he did cook dinner. Also for a dinner party earlier in the week he prepared the starters…
