This should have been provided via email by your CNA Education Services administrator. If you did not receive your User ID, please contact your local helpdesk. User ID and Password Login

6 Catholic Education Office Archdiocese of Melbourne Catholic Education Office Archdiocese of Melbourne CNA Education Staff Portal - Important Notes 1.You should receive an email containing your User ID and password. Please contact your local helpdesk if you have not received this email. 2.Your account will be locked for 15 minutes after 5 unsuccessful login attempts. Hence, in the event your account is locked, the you will be required to wait for 15 minutes before attempting to login again. 3.If you have forgotten your password please contact your local helpdesk to get a new password. You will receive an email with the new password 4.Password Policy minimum length of 8 characters must contain at least 1 alphabet must contain at least 1 number 5.You will be prompted to change your password upon initial login. Ensure your new password is alphanumerical (letters and numbers). 6.Read and understand the usage policies and agreements.

7 Catholic Education Office Archdiocese of Melbourne Catholic Education Office Archdiocese of Melbourne Important Scootle Notes 1.The Learning Federation (TLF) has mapped existing Scootle users to CNA, so they will have seamless access via the CNA Education Portal. 2.User accounts will no longer be managed at the school level. CNA Education Services will manage the user profiles for Scootle Your CNA Education Services Participant Administrator will be the custodian of these profiles. They must be notified of all additions, changes and deletions. 3.If you require help with Scootle, the support contact details can be found on the Scootle Main Page under the “Contact Us” option. 4.Instructions for exporting/importing learning paths in the case of transferring schools can be found on Scootle’s Homepage.

8 Catholic Education Office Archdiocese of Melbourne Catholic Education Office Archdiocese of Melbourne Scootle Common Scenarios ScenarioOutcome New Scootle User1.Users will be prompted to register via Scootle Registration page. 2.Read and understand the terms and conditions. 3.Click on the “Register” button. Existing Users with personal email addresses (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo etc) 1.Users will be required to re-register. The email address used for the registration process will be the address on file in the CNA registry. 2.Users will be prompted to register via Scootle Registration page. 3.Read and understand the terms and conditions. 4.Click on the “Register” button. Existing Users with school email addresses 1.No action required. Your user profile has already been mapped in Scootle. 2.If you find that your profile is incorrectly mapped, please contact your local helpdesk. Transfers/Change of Schools (if there are changes to email addresses and/or DEEWR numbers) 1.Users will be required to export their learning paths using their old User ID. Instructions on the export function can be found on Scootle’s home page. 2.Notify your CNA Education Administrator of the change. 3.Log on to CNA Education Portal and access the Scootle link. 4.Re-register with Scootle. 5.Import the learning paths you exported earlier.

Fill in required details (title, name and role). 2.Verify the group number reflects your work location. 3.Understand and accept the terms and conditions.
