6 Map Work In Box 1 print “April 1861: Lincoln calls for 75,000 volunteers.” Next to the line of ships along the Southern coast, print the word “Blockade.” Lightly shade the four other states that joined the Confederacy using the same color as “Slave states that seceded.” – Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina, Tennessee
