Current Road Conditions and Status The City has 1,810 lane miles of streets 185 total lane miles are “failed” Rated as a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) from 0-100* “Failed” is a PCI < 40 for arterials Average PCI of Evergreen Highway Chelsea to SE 164 th Ave. = 34 SE 164 th Ave to City Limits = 46 *PCI does not measure ride quality Evergreen Highway Corridor Update- 11

Current Road Conditions and Status Thin asphalt repairs Pothole repairs Milling of thin asphalt Test treatment Enhanced cape seal Evergreen Highway Corridor Update- 12

2016 Pavement Work Continued milling of asphalt Asphalt repairs Concrete grinding (new) Enhanced cape seal Re-striping and reflective markers Evergreen Highway Corridor Update- 13

Treatment Options and Cost Complete Reconstruction Current Regulations$515 /SY 2017 Regulations$355 /SY Evergreen Highway Corridor Update- 14

Treatment Options and Cost Reconstruction of Roadway Estimated total cost: $27.0M - $39.5M  Includes entire corridor from Chelsea to City limits (192 nd Ave)  Cost is for replacement with asphalt  Assumes that road width remains the same Phased construction Pathway built as a separate project Evergreen Highway Corridor Update- 15
