2 Reading- Anthology text Section B 45 mins This is fiction. A poem or short story Read question If you know the text skim read and highlight the quotes you are going to use. If you don’t know the text close read and highlight key lines that answer the question or can be used as quotes WRITE: Introduction showing that you understand the text. A PEE paragraph or two for each bullet point. Make sure you have talked about language (word choice, similes, emotive language, short sentences for impact …etc)

Adults, teenagers… choose appropriate ways of writing and vocab – Purpose: Explore means look at different ideas or options, imagine or entertain… Use descriptive techniques: EAT SAMOSAS Brainstorm ideas Opening, development (3 points) closing Use sentences for impact P123,.?! “”:;…()PW CHECK YOUR WORK especially; – Does it make sense? – Spelling – Paragraphs, comma or full-stop?
