12 Homework, Assessments, Remediation, & Reassessments Homework - Despite HW not being for a grade, it will be entered into HAC as either a 1 (completed) or MSG (missing). You will be expected to complete your homework in your math journal by showing your work, checking it with the answers posted in Edmodo, and seeking extra help with problems you missed. You must at least try to do the HW. You will be unable to reassess on any major assessment without completing all missing assignments. Tutoring is Mon & Thur from 7:45-8:15 am & Tues from 3:20-4:00. Minor assessments (quizzes) will consist of problems from the homework. If you completed the homework and understand how to do each problem, you should do well on your minors. You will not be able to reassess over minors, but I will replace your minor assessment grade with a major assessment grade for the same standards. Remediation through tutoring is Mon & Thur from 7:45-8:15 am & Tues from 3:20-4:00. Major assessments (common assessments or tests) will be available for reassessment if you complete all test corrections, missing HW assignments, & the Additional Remediation Assignment. There is mandatory tutoring for failing major assessments. Reassessments are Wed from 3:20 -4:00 pm & Fri 7:45-8:15 am. You have 10 school days to complete all things necessary for reassessments.
